We welcome you to All Saints' Church, Reisterstown Parish.
All Saints' was founded as a parish in 1870 and admitted into union with the
Diocese of Maryland on June 1, 1871. We moved into our present location in
1891 and have been serving the community ever since. Over the years we have
sought to be a witness to the love of our Lord, Jesus Christ, and this
continues to be our desire. Our community has grown dramatically over the
past 25 years and we are making every effort to keep up with the needs of
our neighbors.
Jesus is the center of all that we do at All Saints'. Our
Vision Statement says:
All Saints' strives to be a place where people come
to know Jesus Christ, are transformed to His glory, and become witnesses
to God's unchangeable Word.
To this end we make prayer a priority before and during
every function. We value Christian Education for adults as well as children.
We offer a diversity in worship styles to assist each person in his or her
relationship with God. We feel that children are a gift from God and we
welcome and encouraged them to take an active part in our liturgy and
programs. We cannot be all things to all people, but we make every effort to
live into our baptismal vows to love our neighbors as ourselves and to
respect the dignity of every human being.
Above all we strive to be a church where the Good News of
Jesus Christ is proclaimed, taught, and by the grace of God and the
empowerment of the Holy Spirit, lived out. God has blessed us with his grace
and love, and we invite you to join us in sharing His blessing.
Faithfully in Christ,
The Reverend David Stenner, Rector
